Dear Loyal Client,

It is hard to believe it has been almost two months since our office has stopped face-to-face meetings! I miss seeing all of you. Despite the crazy stock market with its movement all over the place, it has been relatively quiet here in the office. It is amazing how things can change so quickly.

As I write this letter, the environment regarding the reopening of businesses is rapidly evolving, so please adhere to any new guidelines that are published forthwith. My staff and I have been developing a reopening strategy and I want to share this with you. Our plan is to resume face-to-face meetings effective June 1st.

Over the past two months I have taken personal and necessary precautions such as minimizing shopping, wearing a mask when entering a public place, and continued sanitizing. I have closely followed the developments occurring with COVID-19, and am sure more information will be available as scientists continue to better understand the virus.

I understand there is still a risk that the COVID-19 virus is community spread as my office is located in Brown County, WI. As such, please continue to read the considerations below.

Here is my plan for reopening WFR:

  • If you have any concerns about catching the virus, I can conduct reviews via phone calls or by video technology (Zoom). If you have never used Zoom it is really quite easy:
    • An email invitation with a web link is sent to you, and at the appointed time you click on it (you may need to download Zoom if it’s not already on your computer).
    • You will enter a virtual “waiting room” until I open the “meeting room”. This procedure ensures no unauthorized viewers into our meeting room.
    • If you do not have a camera on your computer that is fine. I’ll just see your name listed on my screen. If you don’t have a microphone a phone number for you to call in is provided.
    • Once you enter the meeting room, you will see me and all the documents we will be discussing. Most of the clients I have done this with have been impressed with this technology.
    • If your computer software is outdated and you don’t know how to update the technology, we will complete the meeting by phone.
    • Finally, if you decide to do the meeting with video or phone now and want to meet face-to-face six months from now – I am fine with that. I don’t want you to feel like you used your opportunity to meet with me since we normally do that annually.
  • If you decide to come to my office, you are welcome to bring your own face mask. However, I will have disposable face masks available if you forget or do not have one. I will be sanitizing more than normal so if you smell Lysol don’t be alarmed. I will also have hand sanitizer available. We’ll continue to practice social distancing so don’t be surprised or offended if I do not shake your hand – I highly respect you and would offer that common courtesy if I could.
  • Lastly, if you want to see me face-to-face at your location, I can do that. I will continue to practice my precautions and will bring a mask when we meet, as well as a small container of hand sanitizer. Feel free to advise me of any concerns in advance.

IF THERE IS ANY DOUBT THAT MYSELF (OR MY STAFF) ARE NOT FEELING WELL – I WILL TEMPORARILY CANCEL THE FACE-TO-FACE MEETING TO ENSURE YOUR SAFETY.

Our office has been fortunate to have remained healthy since the pandemic began. I will continue to monitor the situation and let you know if anything else changes. Stay safe, healthy and positive.
